Custom dashboards for individuals

A personal dashboard built around your life.

Show us how you already track your budget, net worth, goals, custody schedule, or household information. We will build the dashboard around you, not force you into someone else's system.

Your system does not need to look like everyone else's.

The starting point

People often already have a method that works: an Excel budget, Google Sheet, investment tracker, debt schedule, or household workbook. The problem is not the method. It is the time spent maintaining it and the effort required to understand the whole picture.

Interactive example

See a month, not another wall of rows.

Switch the period to see how one dashboard can keep net worth, cash flow, spending, and goals connected. All values are fictional and exist only to demonstrate the interface.

Custody and co-parenting calendars

One calendar for parenting time, exchanges, and the details around them.

The regular rotation, holiday rules, vacation blocks, school dates, upcoming exchanges, and the notes you choose to keep, in one private view. It organizes what you enter. It does not track another person, and it does not replace a court order or a required co-parenting system.

More examples

The same craft, applied to whatever you already track.

Three more shapes a personal dashboard often takes. Each starts from a workbook or export the person already maintains. All figures are fictional.

Rental properties

Portfolio at a glance

Rent collected against expected, occupancy, upcoming lease dates, and expenses by property, from the ledger you already keep.

Side business

Income, expenses, and what is owed

Invoices sent and paid, expenses by category, quarterly estimates set aside, and the year-to-date picture a freelancer or side-business owner needs at tax time.

Invoiced · Q3$14,2003 open
Paid$11,65082%
Expenses · Q3$3,4806 categories
Set aside$2,900For estimates

Net worth and investments

Contributions · YTD$9,600On plan
Debt$18,900Auto loan only

One-person businesses

Quotes, invoices, and leads in one place.

For solo operators and freelancers, the same approach can run the business side too: build quotes from your price list, turn an accepted quote into an invoice, keep leads from going quiet, and set the rules for what needs attention. All figures are fictional.

Quotes and invoices

From accepted quote to invoice

Line items, deposits, and due dates carry over when a client accepts, so nothing is retyped and the balance due is already calculated.

Open quotes$6,8503 awaiting reply
Accepted · Sep$9,4204 quotes
Invoices due$2,1402 open
Deposits received$1,380Applied to balances

Leads and follow-ups

Every lead has a next step

Where each lead came from, what was quoted, and when the last reply happened, with the ones that need a follow-up at the top.

New leads · Sep115 from referrals
Follow-up due4No reply in 5+ days
Quoted · open$18,4007 leads

Rules and the year view

Your rules, your view of the year

Set the rules that flag what matters, like an invoice unpaid after 14 days or a job running past its quoted hours, and see finished months next to months already booked.

How it works

Built from your existing way of keeping track.

The dashboard is a custom organization and visualization tool. It does not require bank credentials or impose a budgeting methodology.

01

Show the current system

Share the spreadsheet structure or explain the tracker you use today. Sample or redacted data can be used for early discussion.

02

Choose what matters

Define the numbers, categories, comparisons, and goals you want to see without digging through tabs.

03

Build the dashboard

The interface, calculations, and workflow are created around your information and reviewed with realistic data.

04

Use and refine it

Test the dashboard against real life, adjust what is unclear, and decide how ongoing updates should work.

Direct answers

What a personal dashboard is, and is not.

DeLong Analytics organizes and visualizes information you provide. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, family, or legal advice.

Can you turn my Excel spreadsheet into a dashboard?

Yes. The first step is understanding the workbook, the information you update, and the questions you want it to answer. The dashboard can preserve the useful logic while making the result easier to see.

Can a dashboard organize custody schedules and exchanges?

Yes. A custom view can organize the parenting-time rotation, holiday rules, vacation blocks, school dates, upcoming exchanges, schedule changes, and the details you choose to record. It does not monitor another person and does not provide legal advice. See the custody calendar example.

Do I have to change how I budget or track my information?

No. The service is designed around your current method. Changes may be suggested when they make the data more dependable or easier to maintain, but there is no required budgeting system.

Will you need access to my bank accounts?

No. DeLong Analytics does not require bank credentials for this service. The dashboard is built from the spreadsheets, exports, or other information you choose to provide.

What information can be included?

Common examples include finances, budgets, net worth, savings, debt, bills, custody schedules, exchange records, household costs, properties, vehicles, projects, quotes, invoices, leads, or other structured personal or one-person-business data.

Can a one-person business use this for quotes, invoices, and leads?

Yes. A custom build can create quotes from your price list, turn an accepted quote into an invoice, track leads and follow-ups, and apply rules you set, such as flagging an invoice that is unpaid after 14 days. It organizes your business information and does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice.

Is this financial or legal advice?

No. The dashboard helps organize and visualize user-provided information. It does not recommend investments, tax positions, custody arrangements, legal actions, or financial products.
